EUGENE, Ore. – Despite a game-high 22 points by Corban's Clay Martin that included a 17-point performance in the first half, Northwest Christian's junior guard Erik Quick-Warner tallied 18 points and a game-high seven assists in the Beacons' 90-79 victory over the Warriors Saturday afternoon inside the Morse Event Center.

EUGENE, Ore. – Senior Center Emily Gray broke a 19-month old rebounding record on Saturday, pulling down 19 boards in a 59-54 defeat at the hands of Corban College. Gray’s double-double also came with 17 points, but was overshadowed by the strong second-half play of Corban Point Guard Kailey Bostwick, who finished with a game-high 22 points.

EUGENE, Ore. – Junior Andrew Miller (North Eugene HS) hit a layup with four seconds to play off a perfect pass from Erik Quick-Warner, giving the Northwest Christian University men’s basketball team a 67-66 victory over Concordia on Friday evening. The play leading up to Miller’s shot was nearly identical to one taken in a one-point victory at home last season.

EUGENE, Ore. – Playing in their Cascade Collegiate Conference home opener, the Northwest Christian University women’s basketball team fell on Friday afternoon to Concordia, 84-57. The Cavaliers, currently receiving votes in the NAIA national coaches poll, shot 49% and had four players in double-figures in the win.
